Course Outline:
Dr. of Christian Studies* - The Four Gospels Course is one of the finest Christian-based courses of the ULC Seminary.
The Four Gospels of the Bible consists of the books of: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The storyteller of each gospel writes about Jesus to give us a picture of his life from different points of view.
Through the lessons of this course, you will learn the literal translations of the words in the original texts and read it just as a person of the time would have read it.
The gospel teachings are used as a basis for many things in our culture; phrases, concepts, perspectives, etc. There are also politics that go on in the world related to biblical teachings. People may not realize the roots of those politics are gospel-based.
Your task as you study the material to discern and understand the translations in their proper context, is to recognize:
- How the gospels affect you today
- Where those teachings permeate society
- What the meanings of the teachings are, in relationship to your life

Instructions are included in the course for where to submit any assignments, quiz and essay questions. A Course Final you submit will be reviewed by Faculty, and your completion certificate/diploma will be issued by the ULC Seminary Board of Directors.
